Walk gates and double-drive gates
A walk gate usually runs three to five feet, sized for people, mowers, and trash cans. Can a sagging gate be fixed without replacing it?

Can you build a gate to match my existing fence?

How wide should a double-drive gate be?
It depends on what needs to pass through. Mowers and garden equipment usually need a five to six foot clear opening; vehicles, boats, and trailers typically call for ten to twelve feet. We measure the approach and swing room at the estimate so the opening works in daily use.
